Jerry Donahue is an American guitarist and producer primarily known for his work in the British folk rock scene as a member of Fotheringay and Fairport Convention as well as being a member of the rock guitar trio The Hellecasters. He has also toured and/or recorded with artists such as  Robert Plant, Elton John, Chris Rea, Bonnie Raitt, Hank Marvin, Roy Orbison, Nanci Griffith, The Proclaimers, Cliff Richard, The Beach Boys, Joan Armatrading, Gerry Rafferty and many others. A true industry Heavyweight he has used an ODR-1 for over twenty years and it is a fundamental piece of his equipment.

Jerry Recorded these clips using a FretKing JD guitar into a Nobels ODR-1 straight into a Vox AC-15 on a flat setting. The different tones were all created with the  ODR-1 and use of different pickup selections on the guitar.

Listen to these clips recorded by German guitarist Bernd Kuehl. All 4 recorded with a Fender Deluxe Reverb with a flat setting and more importantly the same pedal settings on the ODR-1!

Drive=5, Spectrum=8 and Level=5.

The different tones were created by using the guitars pickup selections and volume control – and nothing else!
